Remember the Reaction Paper
If you have ever seen the movie Remember the Titans, you know that it is an emotional, heart-warming, eye-opening, and wonderful movie. I've never met someone who could honestly say that they didn't like it. If by some chance you don't find any enjoyment or feeling in this movie, then I strongly suggest you visit your local physician in order to confirm that you are indeed a human being, and possess a soul. Well, one day in my English class, we began watching this movie. I was ecstatic to have a break from the normal routine, especially to get to watch a good movie. So for the past three days, we took advantage of this lucky situation, unaware of what was to come. If you have ever watched a movie in school, which I readily assume you have, you know that teachers don't pop in a movie just to make their students happy. Yes, after being deeply touched by the movie's content, sitting in reflection, the light's are turned on and you are confronted with an assignment over the movie. Suddenly, reality socks you in the face and sucks the emotion from you like a thirsty guy with a crazy straw. After you've written the paper, the experience seems much less magical. So, this is a warning to students everywhere, be prepared!
